My kids mostly speak bahasa and a little English at home, so whenever Shahril & I want to talk about things we don't want the kids to know about we'd use full English.

Tonight, out of the blue:

Shahril: Would you like to watch Pirates tomorrow night?

Afiq: Hah?? Ayah ngan Mama nak pegi tengok Pirates esok?

Hehehe. Kantoi! Looks like we have to learn a new language lah macam ni. Time to brush up my nihon-go yang dah berabuk ne?
